About the Role:

As a Pain Management Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the care of patients undergoing pain management and surgical spine procedures. This includes rooming and intake for clinic visits, room turnover, obtaining urine specimens, and contacting external facilities for diagnostic imaging records.

You will work closely with the Registered Nurse and medical provider team to ensure a smooth and efficient patient flow through the clinic and procedural area. This includes managing patient flow, obtaining clinical data, vital signs, heights and weights, medication review, learning needs assessment, and utilizing universal precautions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage patient flow through the clinic and procedural area
  2. Obtain clinical data, including vital signs, heights and weights, and medication review
  3. Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  4. Assist visitors and answer telephones
  5. Perform other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate preferred but not required
  • Demonstrate keyboarding skills and be familiar with computer use
  • Previous hospital experience preferred
  • Licensed Nursing Assistant in the State of NH required
  • BLS Certificate required

Based on experience and qualifications, we estimate an annual salary of $48,000 - $65,000 for this 40-hour per week position with a day shift schedule.
