About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Surgery Team at Nashville Veterinary Specialists. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of anesthetic and sedated procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor anesthesia and manage patients for various procedures, including abdominal, thoracic, orthopedic, and minimally invasive surgeries
  • Prepare and position patients for surgery, utilizing knowledge of common surgical instruments and their uses
  • Calculate and administer CRI medications accurately, ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a veterinary technician, preferably in Specialty, Emergency, or Critical Care medicine
  • LVMT, CVT, LVT, or RVT license required
  • Advanced skill set in anesthesia monitoring, patient management, and surgical preparation
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service
