Position Overview:
The Multimedia Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, and upkeep of Audio-Visual/Multimedia (AV/MM) systems. This role also encompasses the programming and configuration management of both developmental and operational AV/MM systems.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert design and maintenance of AV/MM systems.
2. Manage programming and configuration tasks to ensure system functionality.
3. Deliver training to clients on the effective use of AV/MM systems.
4. Prepare operational documentation and guides.
5. Conduct system troubleshooting and provide Tier 1 support.
6. Oversee daily operations and configuration activities of AV/MM systems.
7. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure project completion.

Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience as an AV/MM Engineer across various skill sets, including:
- Analog and digital signal processing
- Audio processing and sound reinforcement
- Integration of video teleconferencing systems
- Setup and maintenance of broadcast equipment
- Proficiency in programming CRESTRON AV systems and interfacing with Cisco VTC equipment.
- Experience with VidCAD or similar CAD programs.
- Strong knowledge of hardware and software configuration management processes.

Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with security protocols such as SSL and TLS.
- Knowledge of AV-over IP technologies.
- Certification as a Crestron Programmer or Technology Specialist is preferred.

Educational Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required, or equivalent experience in AV/MM systems may be considered.
