Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for Outpatient Services
Schedule: Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, working four 10-hour days with Wednesdays off and no weekend shifts.
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Essential Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Physical Therapy License
- Minimum of 1 Year of Clinical Experience
- Proficient in outpatient physical therapy with a focus on orthopedic cases
- Strong communication skills, empathy, teamwork, and adaptability are crucial
- Experience required in geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics, outpatient settings, and various therapeutic techniques including AROM/AAROM/PROM, assistive devices, and pain assessment.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BCLS)
- Experience with neurologically involved patients and familiarity with electronic health records, preferably EPIC
- Preferred skills include sports medicine, use of moist heat, phonophoresis, ultrasound, and knowledge of medications.

- Flu Vaccine Compliance Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
Role Overview:
The position involves working in a dynamic outpatient rehabilitation environment, primarily focusing on orthopedic and neurologically involved patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient physical therapy and a solid understanding of electronic health records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and safety measures
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress

Compensation is based on qualifications and experience, specifically for travel positions beyond 50 miles from the candidate's permanent address.
