Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the inventory, maintenance, and cleanliness of event equipment, linens, cleaning supplies, and other essential items.
  • Oversee the preparation of assigned dining locations, including the Gryphon Tea Room, and ensure a high level of service for events and conferences.
  • Train new staff and perform housekeeping services for assigned areas, including ensuring proper hospitality and reception of guests.
  • Purchase supplies and materials for assigned buildings and manage invoices and payments through the SCAD ecommerce site.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement cleaning routines, staffing schedules, and inventory upkeep.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Five to 10 years of related work experience and/or training.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in laundry.
  • Valid driver's license.
