  • Possesses the necessary tools to test and inspect parts for functionality and visual quality.
  • Drives resolution of all issues and communicates progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitates early claims processing and keeps suppliers informed of status updates.
  • Manages initial disputes with internal quality teams.
  • Participates in quality binning meetings as required.
  • Supports regular supplier meetings to discuss quality performance.
  • Contributes to daily quality meetings to address ongoing concerns.
  • Communicates any issues regarding improper handling of parts to relevant teams.
  • Possesses knowledge of supplier manufacturing processes and quality assurance techniques.
  • Trained in various problem-solving methodologies, including Six Sigma and Global 8D.
  • Attends weekly meetings to discuss quality and engineering concerns.
  • Conducts audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and internal processes.
  • Participates in color harmony meetings when necessary.
  • Confirms that certified stock is utilized effectively on the production line.
  • Ensures timely communication of 8D reports to relevant plants.
  • Collaborates with teams during investigations of emerging quality issues related to suppliers.
  • Facilitates the shipment of warranty parts back to suppliers and ensures timely delivery.
  • Maintains awareness of ongoing projects and follows up with relevant teams to ensure progress.
  • Builds relationships with quality teams and understands meeting schedules.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM field.
