About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Virginia Tech Club. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness in our kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all tableware, serving materials, and cooking equipment are washed and sanitized to the highest standards.
  • Implement and maintain M.S.D.S. criteria, food and product safety, and Food and Beverage Policies and Procedures.
  • Remove all trash and maintain loading and receiving areas in a safe and clean condition.
  • Stock plates, glasses, pots, utensils, and pans after cleaning.
  • Clean and sanitize all food service areas and equipment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a casual and/or fine dining atmosphere is an asset.
  • High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) is required.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit (if required by state or federal regulations).

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $15 to $17.00 and benefits for part-time roles, including a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.
