Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the IT Service Technician Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for diagnosing, installing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on PC hardware and software.
Duties include, but are not limited to:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Adhere to all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida policies.
• Install, troubleshoot, and optimize user desktops and laptops, addressing both hardware and software issues.
• Resolve network connectivity problems and manage cable installations as necessary.
• Provide basic network administration support, including user account maintenance and password management.
• Assist with the rollout of system hardware and software upgrades and patches as required.
• Collaborate with end users and staff to provide training and support on computer operations and related issues.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, System Administrators, and Network Administrators to ensure efficient operation of the desktop computing environment.
• Manage customer requests through the ticketing system until resolution.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace as directed.
• Perform administrative tasks as required by local and corporate policies.
• Manage replacement spares through RMA programs to ensure maximum hardware availability and minimal downtime.
• Carry out various tasks as needed by sister properties.
• Demonstrate a commitment to responsible gaming and alcohol service by notifying management of any concerns or observations.
• Uphold the Company's Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion, and Dedication.
• Ensure prompt notification to management of any illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's Degree in a computer-related field is preferred.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in computer hardware support and maintenance is required.
• Equivalent technical training and certification may be considered.
• Must obtain A+ certification within the first 12 months of employment.
• Experience with Ghost Imaging, Iseries, and Blackberry devices is advantageous.
• Familiarity with PC and peripheral maintenance is essential.
• Technical knowledge of XP/2003/Windows7/2008 environments (Installation, Configuration, and Troubleshooting) is required.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and current protocols TCP/IP, WINS, DHCP, and DNS is necessary.
• At least two (2) years of experience troubleshooting Office 2003/2007 software and experience with network and desktop printer installation, configuration, and troubleshooting is required.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The Casino environment is fast-paced, often crowded, and noisy. Employees may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors, including second-hand smoke and excessive noise.

First preference in hiring, training, promoting, and all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements.
