Job Summary

Savantage Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Database Administrator to lead our technical team in providing top-notch database management services.

This position will oversee a team of system operators, help desk personnel, application administrators, and DBAs in providing 24x7 production database administration, support, and monitoring of a mission-critical government IT system.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing a medium to large Oracle RAC installation in a production environment, with expertise in Oracle DB, Teradata DB, SQL, and PL/SQL.

The successful candidate will also have experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Apache Tomcat, and comparable Linux-based Web Server experience.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in database architecture, schema changes, and disaster recovery processes.

The selected candidate will also have experience with Oracle tools such as ADDM, ADRCI, TFA, and custom scripts.

We offer a competitive salary range of $145k - $175k, based on the National Capital Region.
