Work Schedule:

Flexible availability required, including shifts from M-Sunday 11am-7pm or 5am-2pm.


Your Role:

As a Nutritional Services Coordinator, you will perform a variety of tasks to ensure the precise and timely management of patient meal services and menu coordination.

Your responsibilities will encompass clerical duties, record maintenance, and management of patient dietary preferences, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and service.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently process diet and nourishment orders in the computer system to enhance productivity.
  • Assist patients in placing meal and snack orders, considering dietary restrictions, allergies, and cultural preferences.
  • Ensure meal accuracy in terms of texture, consistency, appearance, portion control, taste, and temperature.
  • Deliver meals according to established guidelines and assist with meal setup to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of meal carts and service areas, adhering to safety standards.
  • Document food temperatures accurately and manage food items to prevent waste.
  • Communicate courteously and effectively with patients, families, and facility staff.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Six months of experience in customer service
- Previous experience with data entry
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk frequently.

Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of college education with a focus on nutrition.


Certifications:

Minimum Required:
- ServSafe Certification
Preferred:
- Certified Professional Food Manager (CPFM) or an Accredited Food Handler Certificate.
