Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct inbound and outbound traffic to ensure efficient flow and minimize congestion
  • Change and move signage as directed to maintain clear and accurate traffic guidance
  • Cone off and open parking spaces/levels as directed to optimize parking capacity
  • Walk garage levels and report hazards, maintenance issues, and suspicious activity to relevant teams
  • Physically count occupied and unoccupied parking spaces to maintain accurate records
  • Communicate parking policies and procedures to patrons in a clear and concise manner
  • Provide the highest level of guest service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Train new team members on traffic management procedures and protocols
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the property, including promotions and events
  • Provide guests with directions and information about the Greektown District
  • May operate and move guest vehicles as necessary
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the property and its operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform basic math functions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
  • Understanding and compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures
  • Ability to express ideas or make recommendations concerning job-related issues
  • Learn specific job duties and complete work assignments
  • Maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques
  • Ability to work and make decisions under stressful conditions
  • Must provide superior guest service
