Medical Care Specialist

WINSTON G DOUGLAS seeks a skilled Physician Assistant to provide high-quality medical care to patients under the supervision of physicians and other healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prescribe and administer medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
- Order, perform, and interpret tests to diagnose patients' conditions.
- Record and maintain accurate patient information.
- Monitor patients' conditions and progress, and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
- Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
- Advise patients on diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary.
- Utilize written guidelines/protocol for clinical decision-making and management.
- Participate in continuing education to improve skills and stay current with best practices.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including patient confidentiality and risk management.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant.
- Excellent clinical skills and strong communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
