Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to provide professional and technical expertise in optimizing operational efficiency, reducing raw material costs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering and experience in paper manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead efforts to establish and maintain a safe workplace by enforcing safety protocols and promoting good housekeeping practices.

Provide timely technical support to improve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness within the operation.

Troubleshoot production issues impacting downstream areas and implement new process or chemical technologies to improve performance and reduce costs.

Build and maintain relationships with various departments (operations, maintenance, sales, and marketing) and address customer quality concerns.

Work with vendors to enhance technology with better products and services, while managing chemical performance, cost, and application.

Requirements:

B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Pulp and Paper, or a related Engineering field.

Preferably 1+ years of experience in paper manufacturing.

Strong analytical, technical, communication, documentation, and computer skills.

High level of integrity, with the ability to inspire trust and drive for continuous improvement.

Proven ability to manage conflict and effectively lead others.

Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
