As an Environmental Services Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations of the Environmental Services and housekeeping department. Your leadership will ensure that our facilities maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain a sanitary and aesthetically pleasing environment in accordance with established standards.
2. Ensure staff competency through effective training and adherence to policies and procedures.
3. Distribute daily work orders based on operational schedules and monitor workflow to meet community standards.
4. Conduct regular inspections to assess the physical condition of the facilities and maintain an 'inspection ready' state.
5. Foster excellent relationships with residents, clients, and various departments to coordinate housekeeping activities.
6. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure proper security of departmental assets.
7. Participate in regular staff meetings to enhance communication and collaboration across departments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or related fields.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and financial accountability is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
