Role Objective:

The primary function of the Protein Processing Specialist is to guarantee customer satisfaction regarding capital equipment tailored to their unique formulations and processing methods. This role also involves developing and showcasing processing techniques to both new and prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop economic justifications for capital equipment relevant to specific formulations and prospective clients.
  • Conduct and present Technical Demonstrations at industry trade shows, Middleby Innovation centers, or client locations, as well as deliver short courses on pertinent topics.
  • Collaborate with various departments to assist in the design and/or enhancement of product lines.
  • Support the technical sales team and international sales network.

Qualifications:

2 to 5 years of experience in food process design, particularly in protein processing.

A degree in food science, food/protein processing, or a related field is preferred.

Willingness to travel up to 85% of the time, including weekends, both domestically and internationally.

A valid driver's license, credit card, and current U.S. passport are required.
