Group Facilitator

We are seeking a part-time Group Facilitator to join our Clinical Team at Monte Nido Eating Disorder Center of Portland.
Job Summary:The Group Facilitator is responsible for facilitating and implementing group sessions, creating a safe environment for patients to share emotional difficulties, and providing a catalyst for personal development.
Responsibilities:- Facilitate group sessions and interactions between group members.
- Maintain awareness of individual client's needs and facilitate identification and congruent expression of feelings.
- Document group sessions, including patients' progress, problems, concerns, and mental status.
- Follow program format and requirements, ensuring timely completion of documentation.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff, interns, management, and professional colleagues.
- Attend mandatory training and in-service collaborations.
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related human services field.
- Licensed (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, etc.).
- Prior experience treating those with eating disorders in a residential or inpatient setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
