Position Type: Full-time - Contract
Duration: 13 Months
Location: New Albany, OH
As a Manufacturing Systems Associate Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Role Overview:
Shift Schedule: Day shift from 6:30 AM to 3 PM for the initial 3-6 months, transitioning to second shift from 6 PM to 6 AM (with alternating days off).
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the coordination of technical support regarding engineering, regulatory compliance, calibration, quality assurance, microbial/environmental factors, technical cleaning, validation, electrical systems, and process automation.
- Assist during inspections by regulatory agencies, providing technical expertise in response to inquiries from the FDA and other governing bodies.
- Engage in advanced maintenance tasks or operate and monitor complex plant support equipment in accordance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Support the team in maintaining an updated inventory of spare parts for the relevant equipment and systems.
- Assess existing maintenance procedures and contribute to enhancements aimed at optimizing the maintenance program, troubleshooting, and rectifying equipment/system failures.
- Interpret and review plans related to utility, process systems, plumbing, ductwork, architectural designs, and HVAC P&IDs.
- Support operations during non-standard shifts, including weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED with 6 years of technical engineering experience, or
- Associate's degree with 4 years of technical engineering experience, or
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Educational background in Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with PLC, Computer Serialization, Packaging Equipment, and Inspection Systems.
- Experience with SCADA/PLC Control Systems in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Biotechnology sectors.
- Knowledge of other automated control systems, including Siemens and Rockwell HMIs, Cognex Vision Systems, and Systech Serialization.
- Proficiency in automation system hardware and software support, including installation.
- Strong organizational, project management, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $65-$70/Hour.
