Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Home and Community Rehabilitation program at BrightSpring Health Services. As a key member of our team, you will work with individuals who have experienced brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, or strokes to help them regain functional capabilities and independence.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
- Regularly reassess patient progress, attend staffing meetings, and communicate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Perform discharge evaluations, provide recommendations for home and community safety, and offer referral and education resources to support patients' continued growth and development.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective care coordination and enhance patient outcomes.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Nevada.
- Current CPR certification.
- A minimum of one year's work experience as an Occupational Therapist, with a preference for experience in neuro rehabilitation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job, including moving, lifting, or transferring patients.
