Position Overview

The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) is seeking dedicated and skilled physicians to enhance our faculty in the Division of Hematology and Oncology. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong commitment to patient care and clinical research in the field of Genitourinary cancers, including but not limited to prostate, bladder, and renal cancers.

Role Responsibilities

Successful candidates will engage in:

  • Multidisciplinary clinical management of patients.
  • Designing and conducting clinical trials for cancer therapies.
  • Collaboration with a team of over 200 oncologists and researchers to integrate scientific advancements into patient care.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work within the Big Ten Cancer Research Consortium, where a collaborative research environment accelerates the transition from innovative ideas to impactful treatments.

Candidate Qualifications

Ideal applicants will be:

  • Board certified in internal medicine.
  • Board certified or board eligible in medical oncology and/or hematology.
  • Passionate about teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.
