Position Summary

The selected candidate will engage in comprehensive clinical care and research activities aimed at improving outcomes for patients with prostate, bladder, and renal cancers. This role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient management and contribute to innovative clinical trials.

As part of the Big Ten Cancer Research Consortium, you will be involved in a collaborative environment that promotes rapid advancements in cancer treatment through scientific research.

The Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, recognized as Nebraska's only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center, is committed to providing cutting-edge care informed by the latest research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in multidisciplinary patient care teams.
  • Engage in inpatient and outpatient treatment protocols.
  • Contribute to clinical trials and research initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship and education to fellows, residents, and medical students.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess an MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent degree, with board certification in internal medicine and board certification or eligibility in medical oncology and/or hematology. Newly trained physicians are encouraged to apply.

Working Environment

The position will be performed in a clinical environment with potential exposure to various atmospheric conditions and biological materials. Physical requirements include occasional bending, reaching, and the ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
