At Buchheit Inc, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team. As a key member of our retail store management team, you will be responsible for driving company objectives in profit and loss control, sales performance, customer satisfaction, and shrink results.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive Sales and Profitability: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability in your assigned area.
- Ensure Planogram Execution: Ensure that all planograms are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Merchandise Management: Ensure that all merchandise is properly priced, displayed, and stocked according to inventory levels.
- Staff Supervision and Development: Supervise, train, and develop staff in all functions required to run your assigned area.
- Customer Service: Ensure that all employees provide outstanding customer service to satisfy customer needs.
- Policies and Procedures: Be familiar with and enforce all policies and procedures.
- Area Management: Oversee assigned area through effective delegation and management of work, employees, time, and resources.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain working knowledge of products and services.
- Safety Awareness: Maintain safety awareness of anything in the store that may be a hazard to employees or customers.
- Customer Complaints: Promptly handle any customer complaints, questions, or concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
- Experience: 3-4 years of retail experience.
- Management Experience: Retail management experience is preferred.
- Flexibility: Flexibility to work any open store hours.
- Communication and Leadership Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Motivation and Customer Service Skills: Highly motivated leader capable of motivating others to achieve company goals and excellent customer service skills.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
- Organization and Detail-Oriented: Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Multi-Tasking and Problem-Solving: Ability to multi-task, coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner.
