Athletic Training Assistant

Columbia College is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant Athletic Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our athletic department, you will provide essential support to our varsity sports programs, working closely with our Head Athletic Trainer and Associate Head Athletic Trainer.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical coverage at varsity home and away contests and tournaments
- Assist in the recognition, prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of student-athletes
- Collaborate with local and national athletic departments as needed
- Communicate effectively with students, student-athletes, administrators, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, officials, and coaches
- Hold appropriate memberships in state, regional, and national associations
- Master's Degree preferred
- NATABOC certification
- MO license eligible
- One to three years of experience working in an athletic department
