Position Overview

RAYUS Radiology is excited to offer a unique opportunity for MRI Technologists to engage in travel assignments across the nation. As a part of our internal travel team, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality imaging services while enjoying competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Compensation: The salary range for this role is between $34.62 and $47.59, depending on relevant experience, with an additional travel premium of $10 per hour. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is also available.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Imaging (75%):

  • Conduct routine and advanced MRI examinations on specified body areas to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions with minimal supervision.
  • Screen patients prior to examinations for any safety precautions or contraindications.
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and providing support throughout the examination.
  • Adjust scanning parameters as necessary to ensure optimal imaging results.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with radiologists, referring physicians, and colleagues.
  • Communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, and their families as needed.
  • Adhere strictly to physicians' directives and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and coworkers.
  • Accurately document patient information within the Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS.
  • Keep the work area organized and clean, promoting safety for all.

2. Imaging Support (20%):

  • Ensure MRI equipment is well-maintained and sanitized after each use.
  • Assist in updating the MRI protocol manual and implementing software upgrades.
  • Support the training of new staff by sharing knowledge and technical expertise.

3. Additional Duties (5%):

  • Perform other related tasks as assigned to support the department's operations.
