At RAYUS Radiology, we offer a unique opportunity for MRI Technologists to join our travel team for 13-week assignments nationwide.

The pay range for this position is $34.62-$47.59 based on direct and relevant experience, plus an additional $10 per hour for travel premium.

We offer a competitive pay package with full-time benefits, and all travel-related expenses are company-paid.

Key Responsibilities:

(75%) Patient Imaging

  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats.
  • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination.
  • Prepare patients for MR procedures, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned, and providing patient support by talking to patients throughout the procedure.
  • Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed.
  • Maintain positive attitudes and working relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
  • Converse with doctors, nurses, patients, and family members as required.
  • Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to protect themselves, their patients, and coworkers.
  • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS.
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.

(20%) Imaging Support

  • Maintain equipment in good working order, cleaning and disinfecting equipment after each use.
  • Assist with maintaining an updated MRI protocol manual and software upgrades.
  • Assist with training new associates, providing resources and technical expertise.

(5%) Perform other duties as assigned.
