We're passionate about creating memorable experiences for our guests at SH Hotels & Resorts. As a Group Sales Manager, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while promoting our brand values of sustainability and luxury.

The role is based at our 1 Hotels Seattle property and is an excellent opportunity to join our elite team of sales and marketing professionals.

Your primary responsibilities will include all activities related to the sales function and revenue generation from corporations within assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze industry trends and perform targeted outreach to identify new business opportunities
  • Represent 1 Hotels at industry tradeshows and conferences
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and hotel teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Maintain a proactive approach to meeting the demands of a dynamic 24-hour operation
  • Stay focused on future booking pace from established and potential accounts
  • Demonstrate professionalism and adaptability aligned with the 1 Hotel brand and culture
  • Make informed decisions that align with our commitment to being a platform for positive change
  • Organize and lead familiarization trips to showcase our properties
  • Travel to key markets to meet with existing and potential customers with upcoming group RFPs
  • Collaborate as a cohesive team member by remaining flexible, innovative, and positive

Requirements & Skills:

  • A post-secondary diploma or degree in a field related to hospitality; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated selling skills and proven achievements in selling, optimizing guest engagement, and financial performance
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in group sales within the luxury/hospitality market
  • Exceptional skills in business acumen, time management, written and verbal communication, prioritization, attention to detail, problem-solving, public presentations, follow-up, and teamwork
  • Prior experience with Tripleseat and HMS or similar Property Management System is preferred
