We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society in Prescott Valley. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Job Summary

The CNA will assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also provide vital signs, assist with meals and snacks, and participate in recreational programs. Additionally, you will aid providers and nursing staff members with procedures, document resident interactions, and communicate changes in resident condition to the charge nurse.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide vital signs, assist with meals and snacks, and participate in recreational programs
  • Aid providers and nursing staff members with procedures
  • Document resident interactions and communicate changes in resident condition to the charge nurse
  • Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs
  • Provide housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 16 years old, and have a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred.
