Transformative Architectural Leadership

At CHA Consulting, Inc., we're seeking a visionary Principal Architect to spearhead our Commercial & Institutional - Architectural Team. This hybrid role offers the perfect blend of creativity, technical expertise, and leadership.

Your Impact

As a Principal Architect, you'll be responsible for crafting innovative, people-centric designs that transcend the ordinary. Our architects and engineers collaborate to create solutions that endure in the built environment, and we're looking for someone who shares our passion for creating a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical direction and leadership to the team
  • Assist with project design and quality control
  • Manage and coordinate with junior staff on all phases of design projects
  • Mentor and train staff
  • Support marketing and proposal efforts to secure new business
  • Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and solid architectural judgment in solving complex problems
  • Develop and maintain company standard technical practices
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and zoning codes
  • Prepare 2D & 3D presentations
  • Travel as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture required; Master's degree preferred
  • Registered Architect license required
  • LEED accreditation required
  • A minimum of 20 years of Architecture experience
  • Mastery of all necessary software programs
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of detailed architectural design and buildings codes within various jurisdictions
  • Ability to work and lead in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to conduct QA/QC reviews
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Technical acumen and ability to troubleshoot on a variety of projects
Compensation

$105,000 - $135,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
