Responsibilities:



  • Manage the procurement, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical and pharmacy products according to legal requirements.
  • Verify patient information accurately and efficiently.
  • Type and fill prescriptions using the pharmacy computer system in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and receiving of drugs and supplies.
  • Develop strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and other stakeholders.
  • Operate a cash register effectively in high-volume settings.
  • Conduct patient interviews to gather information on drug use, allergies, and sensitivities.
  • Cover all clinic locations as needed.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the manager or supervisor.


Requirements:



  • Hold a valid license as a pharmacy technician from the California State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Fulfill guidelines established by the State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Be able to cover all Pharmacy locations.


Language Skills:



  • Fluent English speaking, reading, and writing skills are essential.
  • Spanish fluency is required.


Benefits:



  • A competitive salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • NEMS offers free medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees, spouses, and/or children.
  • A company contribution to the 401(k) plan is also provided.
  • This is an FLSA Non-exempt position.
  • This is an OSHA high-risk position.
  • This is a full-time position.
