Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at ERP International. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our military members and their families.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical care and support to patients in various settings, including clinics and hospitals. You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure that patients receive high-quality care and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical care and support to patients in various settings
  • Work closely with healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in peer review and performance improvement activities
  • Practice aseptic techniques as necessary
  • Comply with infection control guidelines
  • Function with an awareness and application of safety procedures
  • Perform efficiently in emergency patient situations
  • Anticipate potential problems/emergencies and make appropriate interventions
  • Notify supervisor, director, or other designated person regarding problems
  • Apply an awareness of legal issues in all aspects of patient care
  • Participate in the implementation of the Family Advocacy Program
  • Exercise awareness and sensitivity to patient/significant others' rights
  • Maintain an awareness of responsibility and accountability for own professional practice
  • Participate in continuing education to meet own professional growth
  • Attend and/or comply with all annual training classes required by the Command
  • Actively participate in the command's Performance Improvement Program
  • Participate in meetings to review and evaluate the care provided to patients
  • Provide training and/or clinical direction as applicable to supporting government employees
  • Operate and manipulate automated systems such as CHCS, AHLTA, ADS, Essentris, MHS Genesis, and Clinical Information System (CIS)
  • Maintain DOD email account as directed
  • Exercise appropriate clinical delegation of tasks and duties
  • Maintain documentation of all treatment provided in accordance with clinic directives
Requirements:
  • Education: Be a graduate from a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or State Board of Nursing approved LPN/LVN training program
  • Experience: Possess one (1) year of clinical work experience as a full-time LPN/LVN within the preceding three (3) years
  • Licensure: Current, unrestricted LPN/LVN license from any state
  • Life Support Certification: Current AHA or ARC BLS Certifications
  • Security: Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance
