Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Development Engineer to join our EDGE team. As a member of this team, you will play a critical role in designing and deploying high-performing networks that connect Amazon to the global Internet. With your expertise in internet routing protocols, network architecture, and automation, you will work closely with our automation teams to develop tools that enable us to scale at higher volumes and lead network projects in areas such as sustaining engineering, deployment, scaling, technology refresh, best practices application, and optimization.

Responsibilities
Some of your responsibilities will include:
  • Create and implement changes on the network
  • Work closely with our automation teams to define tools for scaling at higher volumes
  • Lead network projects in areas such as sustaining engineering, deployment, scaling, technology refresh, best practices application, and optimization
  • Operate and troubleshoot network routing, interconnectivity, platforms, performance, and configurations issues
  • Drive innovation from Top of Rack to the Network Border
  • Maintain standards across the networking toolset while ensuring compliance to those standards and policies
