We are seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team at Americasa by Nationwide Mortgage Bankers. As a Mortgage Loan Processor, you will play a critical role in navigating the mortgage lending process and ensuring the smooth execution of loan transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit detailed loan packages to the lender underwriting department for approval or denial.
  • Determine the best loan option for the borrower through interviewing and discussion.
  • Work with the borrower to gather financial information, verify the accuracy, and complete the mortgage loan application.
  • Act as a liaison between applicants, mortgage brokers, loan officers, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to facilitate loan approval.
  • Ensure loan files meet lending and regulatory guidelines and policies.

Requirements

  • Experience in mortgage lending and knowledge of loan types, such as FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans.
  • Minimum of 2+ years loan processing experience.
  • Strong analytical and time management skills, with superior attention to detail.
  • Accounting, finance, or business Associate's degree preferred; High school diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
