Job Title: Senior Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team at Elite Comfort Solutions LLC. As a global leader in foam technology, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions that enhance the comfort and quality of life for people around the world.

Job Summary:

The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for developing and evaluating new processes and improving current process capability, efficiency, quality, and overall productivity in all areas of manufacturing. This role will play a critical part in driving the transformation of process efficiency, effectiveness, safety, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering and manufacturing production and quality problems through identification and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes.
  • Refine and enhance processes by applying continuous improvement and key Lean manufacturing / production principles and techniques to areas of production.
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished product and process capabilities, and establishing standards to confirm and validate manufacturing process requirements.
  • Identify and implement solutions for issues relating to safety, quality, productivity, and cost reductions.
  • Prepare documentation for new manufacturing processes and engineering procedures.
  • Partner with maintenance on the development improvement and auditing of preventative maintenance programs.
Requirements:
  • Automatic Control (PLC, Drivers, Hardwire, CNC etc.)
  • Practical knowledge of manufacturing and production engineering principles, concepts and general business operations.
  • Ability to create detailed work instructions from engineering blueprints.
  • Familiarity in creating standard work documents.
  • Strong math and computer skills.
  • Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD and 3D Modeling) required for creating process prints, designing tools, fixtures, and gauges.
  • Must possess strong mechanical aptitude, ability to use basic measuring tools, and hands-on capabilities to work on projects without supervision.
  • Good communications, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree (BS) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineer, or manufacturing engineering.
  • Basic Lean Training - Certificate of training - preferred.
  • Bilingual - Spanish English - Strong preference.
