What You'll Do
  • Provide technical, clinical and programming assistance to support sales efforts.
  • Assist Territory Managers in after-hours call support and activities.
  • Build trust and relationships with customers, establishing strong rapport and integrating into all accounts.
  • Work seamlessly with Territory Manager(s) to increase selling time and foster high-trust relationships with customers.
  • Conduct PCP work and educational in-services, as directed.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of assigned accounts and customers, including competitor activity.
  • Collect and study information about new and existing products, monitoring competitor sales, prices and products.
  • Provide feedback to providers on the directions for use specific to implantable devices.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences to meet other sales representatives and clients, discussing new product developments.
  • Use clinical expertise to identify customer training and in-service needs, increasing customer usage, comfort and understanding of all Abbott Chronic Pain Therapies product line.
Education and Experience
  • Associates Degree or technical certification; preferred Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2-5 years work experience, strong preference working with patients in clinical settings.
  • The ability to communicate, understand and educate clinical data in the Chronic Pain Therapies space.
  • Strong clinical skills, excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal, written and presentation skills, with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels and to large groups within and outside the organization.
About the Role

This role is an opportunity to work with a global healthcare leader, providing technical, clinical and programming assistance to support sales efforts. As a Clinical Specialist, you will work under general direction with clinical and sales teammates to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.

You will be responsible for providing medical professionals with sales support, information, and training on the use of Company products, as well as staff education, in-services and technical troubleshooting.

This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills, as well as excellent interpersonal verbal, written and presentation skills.
