Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse LVN Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide high-quality, one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
Requirements:
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.
