Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in diverse tasks throughout all phases of project development.
  • Prepare and verify the precision of contract documents, encompassing drawings and specifications.
  • Integrate relevant codes, construction methodologies, and sequences into various projects, addressing all cross-disciplinary aspects.
  • Oversee and/or conduct site evaluations, documenting existing conditions and construction progress.
  • Address issues and inquiries that arise during the construction phase.

  • Facilitate external communications, including client, official, and contractor correspondence as required.
  • Draft reports such as feasibility studies, condition assessments, and recommendations.

  • Document project progression through correspondence, calculations, and memos.
  • Maintain routine project oversight through approvals and construction phases.
  • Initiate communication with clients and code/city officials.
  • Exercise professional judgment concerning contractual liabilities.
  • Deliver public presentations.
  • Account for individual project contributions, including scheduling, scope, role, and budget.
  • Estimate project requirements and translate them into budgetary hours and costs.
  • Monitor task budgets and implement necessary adjustments to maintain financial targets.
  • Provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team executing a series of tasks.
  • Inspire team motivation to achieve projected milestones and adapt procedures to ensure progress remains on track.
  • Foster positive client relationships.
  • Follow up on qualified leads as directed.
  • Contribute to business development strategies.
  • Assist in proposal and presentation preparation with sufficient marketing knowledge.
  • Mentor staff as appropriate.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited institution.

A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (a master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience).

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience in sales and proposal writing.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

LEED AP certification is preferred, along with a solid understanding of sustainable design principles.

Familiarity with SketchUP, V-Ray, 3ds Max, or other advanced rendering tools is advantageous.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are required.

This role demands an individual who can apply extensive knowledge of principles and practices across a broad range of assignments and devise innovative solutions to encountered challenges.

Previous consulting experience and staff mentoring experience are preferred.

Must be a Registered Architect, with registration in Minnesota or the ability to obtain it within six months being desirable.
