Job Title: Software Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers in the development of complex software systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of software engineers in the development of software systems
  • Develop and maintain software engineering best practices and standards
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Make recommendations for design, process improvements, and data collection
  • Ensure consistency and quality of software products
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 9 years of related professional/military experience, or Master's degree and 7 years of related professional/military experience
  • At least 5 years of experience with all phases of the software development process
  • At least 5 years of experience in C/C++ or other OOP languages
  • Current active Secret DoD Security clearance
  • Ability to attain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Crucible, Bamboo)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Experience working in a DevOps culture with continuous integration / continuous deliveries
  • Lead or management experience in a team environment
