Therapy Operations Director

Job SummaryThe Therapy Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing the therapy department at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospitals in Mansfield and Waxahachie, TX. This key leadership role requires a strong background in therapy management, with a focus on delivering high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement therapy policies and procedures that align with current standards of practice and operational policies.
- Oversee therapy department staffing, retention, and development, including coaching, discipline, and performance evaluations.
- Prepare and manage the therapy department budget, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and interdepartmental teams to integrate therapy services with the total patient's healthcare plan.
- Assist with the development and implementation of specialized patient programs, working with physicians, consultants, and community agencies to improve service quality.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist.
- Minimum of three years' experience in a hospital therapy management level position.
- Masters' degree or working towards completion strongly preferred.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Must maintain an acceptable driving record, current driver's license, and insurability.
