About the Job:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing with experience in a PACU setting. They will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Perform thorough head-to-toe physical and psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
  2. Administer Medications: Administer medications, including IV's, as prescribed by physicians or directed from physician preference cards.
  3. Maintain a Safe Environment: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to infection control practices and regulations.
  4. Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • Education: Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a PACU setting.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment.
