Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Repair Technician to join our team. As a Service Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining sewing machines, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain sewing machines, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating machines
  • Use precision measuring instruments, tool room machines, and equipment to ensure accurate and efficient repairs
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow
  • Continuously learn and improve skills through training and professional development
Requirements
  • Prior experience performing maintenance on electromagnetic devices, performing detailed assembly and re-assembly
  • Ability to understand, read, and interpret documents such as service manuals, parts catalogs, and schematics
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments, tool room machines, and equipment
  • Basic computer, circuit board, or digital electronic knowledge
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to lift and carry sewing machines and other heavy items, occasionally up to 50 pounds
