Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Repair Technician to join our team. As a Service Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining sewing machines, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Repair and maintain sewing machines, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating machines
- Use precision measuring instruments, tool room machines, and equipment to ensure accurate and efficient repairs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow
- Continuously learn and improve skills through training and professional development
- Prior experience performing maintenance on electromagnetic devices, performing detailed assembly and re-assembly
- Ability to understand, read, and interpret documents such as service manuals, parts catalogs, and schematics
- Experience using precision measuring instruments, tool room machines, and equipment
- Basic computer, circuit board, or digital electronic knowledge
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to lift and carry sewing machines and other heavy items, occasionally up to 50 pounds
