Job Title: Registered Nurse RN Medical Surgical Unit

HCA Capital Division is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our Medical Surgical Unit team. As a Registered Nurse RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing and excellent communication skills. As a Registered Nurse RN, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide high-quality patient care and education
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program
  • BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing
  • Current licensure as an RN in the state of Virginia or current multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
