Role Summary:
We're seeking part-time child caregivers to provide nurturing, safe, and engaging childcare experiences for families in the Houston area. As a caregiver with our Care for Business team, you'll have the opportunity to care for children from multiple families, creating a stimulating environment tailored to each child's needs.

Responsibilities:
Conduct introductory calls with each family before providing care.
Care for children in their homes, typically an 8-hour day, adhering to schedules and rules set by parents.
Perform household duties related to childcare, such as cleaning up after meals and activities.

Requirements:
Be at least 18 years old.
Have a minimum of one weekday availability for work (at least 8 consecutive hours between 6am-8pm).
Have relevant childcare experience.
Have reliable transportation to reach families' homes within a 15-mile radius.
Possess Adult, Infant, and Pediatric CPR/First Aid certifications prior to starting (reimbursement provided).
Familiarity and ability to use app-based products and electronic devices.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Physical Demands:
Prolonged periods of standing and frequent bending.
Lift up to 50 pounds at one time.
Exposure to mildly sick children.

Compensation:
This role offers a competitive hourly compensation range of $18-$20, reflecting the anticipated national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors including location, experience, and performance. Additionally, Care.com provides a total compensation package, including annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a generous 401(k) employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
