Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crew Chief I GSO-MRO to join our team at Signature Flight Support Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervision: Directly supervise A&P Technicians, Avionics Technicians, and Interior Technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Coordinate the optimum mix of manpower, equipment, shop space, material availability, and technical data to ensure maintenance schedules are met.
  • Work Assignment and Supervision: Assign and supervise the work of technicians, providing assistance as needed to resolve complex issues.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure that aircraft and operation records are maintained in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
  • Safety and Compliance: Instruct assigned personnel in all applicable safety regulations, monitor compliance, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of new aircraft systems, methods, and maintenance equipment.
  • Customer Communication: Frequently coordinate with customer representatives and other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with invoicing and related tasks, as well as interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
  • Training and Development: Assist and train other technicians in repair of systems, structures, and engines as needed.
  • Attendance and Punctuality: Comply with the location's attendance/tardiness standards and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Age: Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Background Checks: Ability to pass background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, receive and maintain issuance of an airport security badge, and be insurable by the company's applicable insurance policies.
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must have A&P license (or Repairman related to position for Avionics and/or Interiors) and 3-5 years of relevant aviation experience.
  • Aviation Experience: Must be an experienced A&P III Technician, Avionics Technician III, or Interior Technician III, with aviation training preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills to give technical advice and work with personnel from other departments.
  • Driver's License: Must possess a valid state driver's license.
  • Computer Skills: Must have basic computer skills.

  • Physical Activity: Regularly walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
  • Sitting: Frequently sit.
  • Lifting: Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Language: Read, write, and fluently speak and understand the English language.
  • Math Skills: Perform simple math calculations and apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.
  • Uniform and Insignia: Wear uniform and insignia as prescribed by the Company.
  • Attendance: Report to work in a regular and timely manner.
