The Cardiac Rhythm Monitoring Specialist is responsible for maintaining ongoing surveillance of patients' cardiac rhythms and notifying nursing clinicians of any changes. This includes collecting data for telemetry placement, measuring and interpreting patients' heart rhythms, and documenting on patient records. The ideal candidate will have two years of experience monitoring ECG/Dysrhythmia in a hospital setting and possess knowledge of basic anatomy/physiology of the heart.

About the Role

The Cardiac Rhythm Monitoring Specialist will work closely with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining ongoing surveillance of patients' cardiac rhythms and notifying nursing clinicians of any changes.
  2. Collecting data for telemetry placement.
  3. Measuring and interpreting patients' heart rhythms.
  4. Documenting on patient records.
  5. Performing ECG procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Cardiac Rhythm Monitoring Specialist will need to possess:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Successful completion of Hospital Clinical and Professional Development Dysrhythmia Course and EKG exam.
  • BLS certification.
  • Two years of experience monitoring ECG/Dysrhythmia in a hospital setting.
