Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled Maintenance Technician who excels in machinery upkeep and repair. This role entails performing both routine and urgent maintenance tasks to ensure the seamless operation of our equipment. This full-time position demands a high level of technical skill and a steadfast commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, your duties will include:

1. Conducting regular and preventive maintenance on various machinery, including motors, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.
2. Utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for maintenance tracking and scheduling.
3. Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues, including PLC controls and electrical schematics.
4. Maintaining and repairing pneumatic systems.
5. Performing mechanical maintenance to ensure machinery operates at peak efficiency.
6. Executing facility maintenance tasks, including plumbing and general upkeep.
7. Using both power and hand tools for repairs and installations.
8. Responding to urgent maintenance requests as necessary.
9. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards in all work performed.
10. Documenting all maintenance and repair activities for record-keeping.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

1. At least 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a comparable role.
2. Demonstrated expertise in machinery maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
3. Proficiency in mechanical maintenance, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems.
4. Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting, including experience with electrical controls and PLC systems.
5. Experience with CMMS for maintenance management.
6. Skills in facility maintenance, including plumbing tasks.
7. Competence in using power and hand tools.
8. Ability to interpret and understand electrical schematics.
9. Strong focus on safety and quality assurance.
10. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
11. Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
12. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
13. Physical endurance and the ability to lift heavy machinery.
