Senior Deckhand

TopView Sightseeing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Deckhand to join our team. As a key member of our maritime operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vessels.

• Vessel Startup: Assign duties to deckhands, check engine fluids, fill out engine log, and inspect vital ship systems for operation.
• Vessel Operation: Direct deckhands during docking, control passengers at gangway during boarding, perform spot checks to ensure crew is working properly, and assist the captain as needed.
• Vessel Shutdown: Confirm vessel is safely moored for the night, direct crew for final rounds and shore power connection, shut down engines, and drop load on generator and switch to shore power.

• 1-3 years of managerial experience
• 1-3 years of experience working in a customer service industry
• 1-3 years of experience working on vessels
