Job Description

TopView Sightseeing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Deckhand to join our marine division. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vessels.

Responsibilities
  • Vessel Startup: Assign duties to deckhands, check engine fluids, fill out engine logs, and inspect vital ship systems.
  • Vessel Operation: Direct deckhands during docking, control passengers at the gangway, perform spot checks, and assist the captain as needed.
  • Vessel Shutdown: Confirm the vessel is safely moored, direct crew for final rounds, shut down engines, and switch to shore power.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of managerial experience
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a customer service industry
  • 1-3 years of experience working on vessels
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
