OSI Group is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Group Lead to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Supervisory Activities: Schedule, train, coach, and make recommendations to the Supervisor regarding performance, hiring, and termination decisions.
- Shift Transitions: Participate in transitions between shifts and communicate key information to peers, team members, and Production Management.
- Department Support: Provide backup to the department's Group Leaders and Supervisors.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare routine and special reports that document testing activities, test results, and operational issues involving product quality and safety.
- Compliance and Training: Ensure operational compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in areas such as safety, employment, quality, work rules, good manufacturing practices, hazard analysis, and critical control points.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to work in extreme hot and cold, noisy environments. Must be able to stand, walk, and climb stairs/ladder up to ten (10) hours per day.
- Authorization: Must be able to obtain and maintain valid Lock Out Tag Out authorization.
