Job Description

The Assistant Wargame Director serves as the principal administrative deputy to the Game Director, responsible for organizing and supervising the team, synchronizing and scheduling tasks, and ensuring project milestones are met on time. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing program objectives and milestones for each project;
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to synchronize efforts and inform participants on project status and deliverables;
  • Leading the execution of wargaming events, including participant registration, venue selection, security coordination, and physical event layout;
  • Filling in for the Game Director when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience with a Bachelor's degree;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Knowledge of military affairs and/or foreign policy;
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in building professional PowerPoint presentations;
  • A current DOD Secret clearance, with the ability to acquire a TS/SCI clearance.
Clearance Requirements

Candidates must have a current DOD Secret clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements

The selected candidate must be able to remain in a stationary position for approximately 50% of their working hours.
