Strategic Warfare Planner

ManTech International Corporation seeks a skilled Strategic Warfare Planner to support a government contract for wargaming in Quantico, Virginia. The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000 based on national averages.

A Strategic Warfare Planner designs and executes wargame events, including major matrix-style games, table-top exercises, and simulation-based activities. Key responsibilities include:

• Creating custom wargame designs that address specific objectives and research questions
• Facilitating and adjudicating wargames to ensure smooth execution and desired outcomes
• Collaborating with the game director and lead analyst to create an environment tailored to achieve analytical objectives
• Developing innovative game mechanics to enhance analysis
• Leveraging technology, such as integrating modeling and simulations into decision-based wargames
• Working with a wargame design team to develop comprehensive designs and game rules

To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

• A Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience, or a total of 8 years of experience without a degree
• Familiarity with various concepts, practices, and procedures in the field
• Experience in planning and accomplishing designer goals, as well as directing others in this work
• A current Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance
