Patient Care Coordinator

As a Full Time Receptionist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the best possible care. Your responsibilities will include welcoming patients and visitors, collecting patient identification cards and insurance information, updating patient accounts, and performing various administrative duties. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Collect patient identification cards and insurance information
- Update patient accounts, including scheduling and electronic medical records
- Collect copayments and deductibles, and record payments in the billing system
- Perform other administrative duties as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of clerical/registration/patient care experience in an Endoscopy/Ambulatory Surgery Center (preferred but not required)
- Ability to speak and understand the English language
- Strong ethical and moral character references
- Excellent patient relation, telephone, and computer skills
